architecture renderings & illustrations renderings

Two-dimensional drawings and sketches, are one of the good ways for an architect to help clients visualize design concepts and spatial relationships.
These architectural renderings have been primarily done with ink or pencil but may incorporate the use of color in the form of paint, pencils, or markers.
Renderings can be quick sketches to quickly relay a concept, or more formal finish renderings which are generally used to sell a completed comprehensive concept to a client.

A formal, finish rendering, usually starts with rough sketches on "onion skin" working quickly and using overlays to make needed adjustments along the way.
Once the desired layout is achieved, it can be copied into a more formal final presentation.

With the previlence of computers today, it is more common to see "renderings" that are generated by programs in which you can create virtual models.
